ROSACEA
is a skin disease that is usually more common in women, and especially during menopause. psychologically it is very annoying for the person who suffers, as it gives the feeling that you go up the colors.

ETIOLOGY OR CAUSE OF ROSECEAIt is a follicular reaction occurs mainly in women older than 40 years with digestive problems, hormonal or nervous (may have the three problems together). Also found in alcoholics of both sexes.

However, like everything else in life, if we know the causes of rosacea, we can attack the source of the problem and get us
off.

SYMPTOMS:There are four identified rosacea subtypes and patients may have more than one subtypeTelangiectática erythematous rosacea: Permanent redness (erythema) with a reddening trend more easily. It is also common for this small blood vessels visible near the surface of the skin (telangiectasias) and possibly burning and itching.Papulopustular rosacea: Some permanent redness with red bumps (papules) that some may contain pus (pustules) (which typically last from 1 to 4 days), this subtype can be easily confused with acne.Fimat rosacea: subtype most commonly associated with rhinophyma (a thickening of the nose). Symptoms include thickening skin, irregular surface nodules and enlarged. Fimat rosacea can also affect the chin (gnatofima) versus (metofima), cheeks, eyelids (bléfarofima) and ears (otofima). [2] Small visible surface blood vessels (telangiectasias) may occur.Ocular Rosacea: red eyes and eyelids, dry and irritated. Some other symptoms include foreign body sensation, itching and burning.There are other descriptive terms applied to presentations of rosacea, but these are not formally accepted as subtypes of rosacea:Granulomatous rosacea.The rare and severely damaging Rosacea fulminans (Pyoderma faciale) occurring exclusively in women after adolescence and most commonly entered the age of 20,Perioral dermatitis, which is best described as periorificial dermatitis, but similarly treated with topical metronidazole. [7]Persistent edema of rosaceaRosacea conglobataThe persistent redness and swelling of the upper half of the face is called "disease Morbihan"Patients who suffer from rosacea often report periods of depression due to disfigurement, painful burning and stinging sensations, and decreased quality of life.
